Two things have inspired my career and my life in general: helping others live their best life possible, and finding seeds – in others and in business – that I can help nurture and grow. Walking the Camino over a span of several years, I’ve discovered that the path is the perfect place for both of these things. We built Camino Connections to enhance your walking experience, as well as enjoy deep connections with other pilgrims along the way.

Walking the Camino de Santiago had a huge impact on my life. I’m an adventurer, explorer, and hiker from Mexico, with a deep love for nature. I work in tech and have been involved with the Camino app since its early days—something I’m really passionate about. Outside of work, I’m into music, art, and I’m definitely a coffee enthusiast. I also love to travel and capture moments through photography. Exploring different cultures and meeting people from all over the world to hear their stories is something that truly inspires me.

Since I was a boy I’ve had an intensely burning desire to explore and wander the Earth. I’ve walked and explored my way around 68 countries at this point, and don’t imagine slowing down anytime soon. Through my shared experiences on the road I have an intimate understanding of how stories can influence the person listening, and be therapeutic for the person sharing.

I spent my summers as a child on my grandparent’s farm and I would sit for hours looking through hundreds of National Geographic magazines in awe of the beauty and experiences this world has to offer. In many ways I feel the photos and accompanying stories are why I have a strong passion for sharing my story through photography and a deep desire for exploring the world.
